Welcome to Nat Travelz, a compilation of my journeys and adventures through my one-year expedition across the world!
I was born in Montego Bay, Jamaica to a Chinese-Jamaican father and Iranian mother. At the age of five I moved to Upper Arlington, a suburb in Columbus, Ohio. Growing up, I have always considered myself to be a multicultural citizen of the world. From a very young age, traveling became my passion and a goal for me, and whatever I did from then on was to pursue and achieve this goal.
I've fallen in love with the earth; not only with the natural sites and wonders that it encompasses, but also with the many cultures and peoples in it as well. The feeling that I get whilst traveling is incredibly powerful- it's as if God made the sands, the stars, the mountains and the seas just for me!
The quote by Mahatma Gandhi, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever…” has been my inspiration in life and my one-year expedition will allow me to learn from different cultures, customs, and traditions from all around the world. I hope that whoever visits my site is inspired to follow their own dreams, courageous enough to do it without fear and create their own personal voyage of discovery!
